Week four of fifty-two.....

Monday, 24 January 2011

UGH..........
Are you ready for the complaining?!
It has not even been 24 hours and I am ready to throw in the towel!
I've dreaded it, my friends.
I procrastinated this day FAR too long but truthfully I AM NOT READY.
I am not a fan of mess (let alone poop & pee!)
so cleaning it up all day long is far from any desire of mine!
BUT it must happen, tis time.

I am not really happy about and neither is he....as you can tell!

I think it is going to take more than Ben 10 underwear and M&M's to do the trick!
Wish me luck, cross your fingers and say some hardcore prayers for me & Mr. Delish...
it's gonna take a miracle!

week three of fifty-two......

Ugh...what a week it has been!
I know, I know...posting the third week when I am starting the fourth...
Some say that is just silly but according to one of my besties...I am just "shakin' it up!"

Me and my Steve Maddies...oh these boots that I love soooo much.
They are perfectly grey and my go-to shoes for shoots.
What I love more is that I got them off of Ebay for $10.
I know....so rad.
I was hoping to be with them as they are in this first shot.
Criss-crossed propped up on a train seat on their way up to London.
I was so looking forward to a photographers convention but the latter photo kept me from going.
While sad, yes quite sad...not nearly as sad as the sickly boy who would have been without his mom which would have been MORE sad.
So staying home with him is not a sad thing at all.

Thankfully he is mostly better!
Week four coming next.....

Happy Halloween from Ben 10 and a grumpy Bumblebee!

Let the WILD RUMPUS BEGIN......

Three years ago I lay in a hospital bed waiting to meet my little wild thing.
I didn't know he would be a wild thing.
I expected a placid little one who would be calm and easy.
Instead I got something so much more....
More fun, more REAL and more him.

I have LONG loved the book, "Where the Wild Things Are."
It was only when I started reading it to Mr. Delicious that I realized
I had a real life Max!

The few weeks after he was born I wasn't so sure I was going to love him
the way I had heard so many mothers proclaim love for their children.
Then one day...the wild thing stole my heart.
It happened in an instant and has changed my life forever
A short little man who has made us better than we are.
Mr. D we love you and are so glad that you were born 3 years ago.

OUR KING OF ALL WILD THINGS.
