Dear week five....
GOOD RIDDANCE, you gave me a run for my money!

Let's talk about the line-up of sickness in this casa!
L Ru with:
Very swollen glands,
Ear infection,
snotty nose,
gunky eyes,
juicy cough,
possible bowel infection,
high fever....

I mean what else is there?!!?
Oh yah and teething on top of it!

Poor thing, it has been so sad.
The worse part of it is that she has been itching to get outside (AND ME!)!
After a day of antibiotics I thought I could let her roam around out back for bit.

All she did was RUN!

Brother only joined us for two seconds as he is currently (and successfully YAY!) potty trained
& quite thoroughly enjoys the wiles off running around with underwear on!
Which, with this kind of weather, we don't really let him do outside!

Still a bit sick yet smiling away.
She is our good time girl!

Week six.....please be more awesome.

Spring session details COMING!

Week four of fifty-two.....

Monday, 24 January 2011

UGH..........
Are you ready for the complaining?!
It has not even been 24 hours and I am ready to throw in the towel!
I've dreaded it, my friends.
I procrastinated this day FAR too long but truthfully I AM NOT READY.
I am not a fan of mess (let alone poop & pee!)
so cleaning it up all day long is far from any desire of mine!
BUT it must happen, tis time.

I am not really happy about and neither is he....as you can tell!

I think it is going to take more than Ben 10 underwear and M&M's to do the trick!
Wish me luck, cross your fingers and say some hardcore prayers for me & Mr. Delish...
it's gonna take a miracle!

week three of fifty-two......

Ugh...what a week it has been!
I know, I know...posting the third week when I am starting the fourth...
Some say that is just silly but according to one of my besties...I am just "shakin' it up!"

Me and my Steve Maddies...oh these boots that I love soooo much.
They are perfectly grey and my go-to shoes for shoots.
What I love more is that I got them off of Ebay for $10.
I know....so rad.
I was hoping to be with them as they are in this first shot.
Criss-crossed propped up on a train seat on their way up to London.
I was so looking forward to a photographers convention but the latter photo kept me from going.
While sad, yes quite sad...not nearly as sad as the sickly boy who would have been without his mom which would have been MORE sad.
So staying home with him is not a sad thing at all.

Thankfully he is mostly better!
Week four coming next.....

I've shot the two small cuties a couple of years ago!
They have grown so much!
Thankfully I got them in for my last quick session of 2010 AZ!

I am so glad that mom and dad decided to join in this time!
They are all so darn DARLING!

How cute are all of these little ladies and that one little handsome man?!
Can you believe that the mama of this crew was preggo with another when we shot this?!
She SO had them under control, it was awe-inspiring!
They truly were angels during shooting....love this set!

Big sister is a great favorite with all of them...that was so easy to see!

I have attempted a few times to do separate photo projects that help me to increase my creativity & knowledge.
ATTEMPTED....yes that is that fatal word unfortunately.
I tried to do the 365 project on Flickr and along with other various other photog friends a number of different projects.
I LOVED doing them but....
the problem is I am REALLY BUSY!
My young children require a GREAT deal of attention as well as my business.
Maybe I am not organized enough...maybe.
I am going to give it a go again with my family.
It's funny how being a photographer doesn't actually mean I photograph my children all of the time!
You would think, right?!?!
Tell me I am not the only photographer who hates to lug the camera around along with a baby bag and everything else?!?!!?
I LONG to chronicle my babies lives so 52 weeks of Mr. Pied Piper, Mr. Delicious & Ru baby.
Here we come....

So this is actually going to count as my SECOND week....I am counting the Christmas post as my first week and YES I realize I am going to need to post this week AGAIN in order to be right with the weeks BUT BUT BUT I just thought of it so cut me some slack!!

Miss L. Ru. just discovered big bro's rocking horse.
When we were first married, we bought all of our furniture at second-hand shops.
We had spent, what we considered, a small fortune on some wardrobes & chairs.
Then I saw that cute little rocking horse.
I was BARELY pregnant with Mr. D...I wanted it BIG TIME.
The budget had been spent though.
The lady at the shop must have seen my desire because she came over to me and said...
"Take it, it's all yours."
Isn't that great?!?

She has been rocking on it NON-STOP I tell you!
I can't get enough of her cute bitty feet and squishy thighs rocking away.

She rocks on it so hard that it slips back and back on the carpet pushing it until she is back up against the wall!
Which OF COURSE totally infuriates her!

I can't believe my number two babe is already rocking on it.
REALLY...where does that time go?!

Oh...must run....rocking horse drama....need to move that horse YET AGAIN!

The pleasure was all mine to photograph my dear friend and fellow photographer Jen Roberts of Green Apple Images.
She is as talented as she is beautiful and her family is simply divine!
We trade, I love it, love her, love our Crackers lunches...

This is what I call little Miss Green Apple....is she not the spitting image of her mama?!?

SUCH cute dudes!

Pretty little ladies all in row!

I sooo love the first shot here....love the littlest chica SO PROUD to be holding baby bro's hand!!

LOVE the leg up, LOVE the hubby's smooth move face...aren't they just lovely!?

SOOOOOOOOOO in love with his mama.....do you think it shows?

Such a wonderful family!!
So glad to have met the fab Apple over three almost four years ago!
Love you BIG TIME J!
